Vibe coding transforms how software gets built — and at Baqend, this transformation is already happening.
That's why we're looking for a Vibe Coding Architect (all genders) in full-time (40 hours) to shape how our non-technical teams build reliable, secure applications with AI coding tools like Claude Code.
About Your Role
Vibe coding changes who builds software. At Baqend, our Sales, Customer Success, and other non-technical teams are increasingly creating their own tools, dashboards, and automations using Claude Code and similar AI coding assistants. This is powerful — but it also creates new challenges around architecture, code quality, security, and maintainability.
That's where you come in. As our Vibe Coding Architect, you are the bridge between our engineering standards and our non-technical teams' growing ability to build software. You design the guardrails, shared infrastructure, and best practices that enable everyone to ship reliable, secure applications — regardless of their technical background. You're embedded in our Frontend Team but operate mostly independently, working across the entire company as an enabler, reviewer, and go-to architect for AI-assisted development.
About your potential tasks
- AI-Assisted Development Architecture: Design and maintain the foundational setup for Claude Code projects — including CLAUDE.md conventions, MCP configs, reusable skills/plugins, and prompt engineering best practices that make AI coding tools effective and safe for non-technical users.
- Code Review & Quality Assurance: Review AI-generated code from non-technical teams, identify architectural issues and security gaps, and refactor where needed — acting as the technical safety net for all AI-assisted development.
- Shared Infrastructure & Tooling: Build and maintain reusable components (auth modules, DB schemas, API wrappers, deployment templates) and design Git workflows (branching strategies, PR reviews, CI gates) that keep shared projects stable and the development experience frictionless.
- Deployment & Integration: Set up deployment pipelines (Firebase/GCP) with proper access control and monitoring, and design reliable integration patterns — scheduled data syncs, automated reporting, webhook-driven automations — with error handling and secrets management.
- Database & Storage Design: Define data architecture decisions (Firestore vs. relational DB vs. spreadsheet), set up access control, and ensure teams can work with shared data safely.
- Training & Enablement: Run hands-on workshops and create documentation that teaches non-technical colleagues how to use Claude Code, Git, and your shared infrastructure effectively. You don't just build — you teach others to build.
